These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use Njord.
2. Description of Service
Njord is a kitesurfing conditions platform that aggregates publicly available wind and weather data from third-party providers, assesses conditions at spots you define, and delivers personalised alerts to help you decide when to kite.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

- Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others
- Not use another person's account without their explicit permission
- Notify us immediately at legal@njord.app if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Weather Data Disclaimer
Njord provides condition information for informational purposes only.
Wind and weather data is sourced from third-party providers and may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Do not rely on Njord as your sole source of information before engaging in kitesurfing or any other outdoor activity. Always observe local conditions in person, consult official forecasting services, and exercise independent judgement.
Kitesurfing is an inherently dangerous activity. Conditions can change rapidly and without warning. You assume full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others when making decisions based on, or influenced by, information provided by Njord.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Njord, its operators, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury or death
- Property damage or loss
- Financial loss or lost profits
- Loss of data or service interruption
These limitations apply whether the claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, statute, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, trademarks, logos, and code within the Service are owned by [Company Name] or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
